AUTHENTIC PIHUAMO CRAFTSMANSHIP

This traditional style takes its name from Pihuamo, Jalisco, Mexico, a region associated with this distinctive style of Mexican huarache.

The leather is prepared using traditional methods, and the huaraches are handcrafted with the rustic character that makes each pair unique.

The outsole is made from the durable center section of recycled truck tires, providing a strong, long-wearing sole. Because reclaimed tire material is used, the tread pattern may vary from the photographs.

Small artisan markings may also be visible around the edges of the sole. These are part of the traditional handmade construction process and are not considered defects.

IMPORTANT – BREAK-IN PERIOD

These are authentic, heavy-duty rustic huaraches.

The genuine leather may feel firm or stiff when first worn. This is normal. With use, the leather will gradually soften and mold to the shape of your foot.

If you are looking for a soft sandal that feels fully broken-in immediately, this traditional Pihuamo style may not be the right choice.

Men's Sizes – Mexican Fit

US 5–5.5 = MEX 23
US 6–6.5 = MEX 24
US 7–7.5 = MEX 25
US 8–8.5 = MEX 26
US 9–9.5 = MEX 27
US 10–10.5 = MEX 28
US 11–11.5 = MEX 29
US 12–12.5 = MEX 30
US 13–13.5 = MEX 31

If you normally wear a half size, we recommend choosing the lower whole size. For example, if you normally wear US 9.5, choose US 9.

Please note that the sandals may arrive marked with their Mexican size. For example, a US size 9 corresponds to MEX 27.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FOOT

1. Place a sheet of paper on the floor and stand on it.
2. Trace the outline of your foot while standing.
3. Measure from the center of the heel to the tip of your longest toe.
4. Use this measurement to help determine the appropriate size.
