Product description

These are straight from the artisan from deep in the Mexican pueblos. The outer edges of the sole are outlined with pen marks which allow the artisan to place where he will insert the nails that attach the leather upper to the outer sole.

These are authentic Huarache Sandals imported directly from Mexico and are handmade with leather uppers and has an adjustable buckle.
The inner sole is leather lined and nails around the perimeter of the sandal are used to attach the inner sole to the outer sole, rather than the traditional glue and stitch method.

Each shoe is handmade from 100% authentic leather.

These shoes are the traditional sandals found in Mexico and will require you to wear them around to “break-in” the leather.

Before placing an order, you should read our suggestions and make your own decision. After having read and understood what our artisan products are and how they are made, as well as our Mexican Huaraches / Mexican Sandals, they are “heavy duty” very rough, raw and rustic. If you are looking for sandals that are comfortable on the first use, honestly these are NOT for you, our authentic and original Mexican Huaraches are considered VINTAGE, RETRO.

ABOUT THE MATERIALS USED:

All of our Mexican huaraches / Mexican Sandals are made with: natural tanned leather, nails, tire sole, rustic fittings, leather glue, coloring inks, oils to give them color.

ABOUT THE SIZES:

As we all know, in the world of fashion and the design of clothing and footwear (Mexican huaraches, shoes, sandals) each designer or each artisan has their own cutting and sewing patterns and therefore many Sizes may vary, to suggest the best size for you we suggest you follow these simple steps:

1) On a piece of paper and with a pencil (YOU MUST BE STANDING, NOT SITTING) draw the outline / around your foot.

2) With a ruler or tape measure you must measure from the center of the heel to the tip of the big toe of the DRAWING OF YOUR FOOT.

3) Tell us the MEASUREMENT YOU TAKEN and with this measurement we could suggest or recommend the best size for you. See the LAST PHOTO OF THIS AD for more details.

WHERE OUR HUARACHES ARE MADE

They are authentic Mexican Huaraches / Mexican Sandals imported directly from Mexico. These huaraches are handcrafted with leather uppers, REAL truck tire soles and ON SOME STYLES HAVE an adjustable buckle. The inner sole is lined with leather, and nails are used around the perimeter of the sandal to attach the inner sole to the outer sole, rather than the traditional glue and sew method.

Remember that our Original Huaraches Mexicanos / Mexican sandals are handmade and each piece is unique. Paint style or color may vary slightly. We do our best to maintain consistency and we succeed in most pairs, but on rare occasions there is a small or minimal difference in the shades or colors of the parts that make up our Huaraches Mexicanos / Mexican Sandals, plus all shades Light or natural colors will age over days, months and years, turning a dark brown color over time.

Handmade Products may present small aesthetic imperfections such as marks, scratches, bumps. That arise as a result of leather work, such details are not accepted for exchanges or returns. The colors of the leather may vary slightly and especially over time
